Recently there has been a heightened sensitivity toward the use of plastics. Specifically, the use of plastic packaging for commonly used items like bottles. Much of this backlash comes from the idea that this plastic ends up in the oceans, leading to disastrous and far reaching environmental problems. In fact, there have even been legislative bills proposed to tax water bottling companies.
There is much conversation and concern today—as there should be—about plastic packaging for products. Plastic packaging containers for everything from food to bottled water are safe for the contents they hold and an option that helps keep products affordable for consumers. Without plastic bottle packaging, bottles would be more expensive to make, and if alternatives to plastic packaging like glass or aluminum were used, a shipment of bottled water would be much heavier and consequently much more costly to transport.
At Eldorado Natural Spring Water, our entire company philosophy emphasizes our concern for how we treat the environment and preserve our great springs. Taking our part to help care for our natural environment is a pretty huge priority to us! That’s why we have integrated environmental preservation into every aspect of our day-to-day operations. Here’s how we do our part:
These days it seems like DIY’s are all the rage—and for good reason! DIY projects are a great way to enjoy creative family time while also using up those gizmos and gadgets that would otherwise be thrown away. At Eldorado Natural Spring Water, we love anything that reduces our environmental impact and encourages recycling. That’s why we’re proud to be the very first bottled water company to introduce 100% recycled water bottles and a fully solar powered manufacturing facility.
