According to a recent news article in Yellow Scene (partially quoted below), Boulder Spirits, makers of award-winning American single malt and bourbon whiskey, recently announced that its small batch single malt release (The Trailhead) won a double gold medal at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).
“We’re very proud of The Trailhead single malt whiskey, and we’re thrilled to receive a double gold medal from a prestigious competition like the SFWSC,” said Boulder Spirits Cofounder Alastair Brogan. “This whiskey rating helps support the strength and possibilities for the American single malt category, and we’re excited to be part of it.”
