Mocktail recipe

Ah, sweet summertime. Nothing's better than the feel of fresh cut grass on your toes, the smell of a backyard BBQ, and the sound of kids splashing in the pool. Although the season has come to a close, there are still certain flavors that can bring us back! Sweet berry cocktails and various flavored frozen drinks have always been a staple of summer relaxation, but we would like to introduce a new contender: the refreshing and hydrating Eldorado Natural Spring Water mocktail!

Now, we can’t take all the credit for the delicious recipes below. We were inspired by a recent trend that has taken the mixology world by storm. Instead of the age-old practice of infusing spirits, bartenders are now beginning to infuse water. These tasty water concoctions are then combined with whatever spirit, fruit, vegetable, or spice the makers see fit.

The following are 3 alcohol-free, large batch mocktail recipes that the entire family can enjoy. Happy sipping!

Berry Berry Delicious

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of ripe mixed berries such as raspberries, strawberries or blackberries.
  • 1 long piece of lemon peel.
  • 4 cups of Eldorado Natural Spring Water
  • Ginger ale
  • 5 - 10 mint leaves
  • Optional: Berries for garnish

Preparation:

Add berries, lemon peel and water to a large pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight). Strain water and add 3 oz to a glass. Top with a splash of ginger ale along with muddled mint and berries for garnish.

Nojito with a Twist

Ingredients:

  • The juice of 2 limes
  • 5 - 10 mint leaves
  • 1 small english cucumber
  • ¾ cup of white sugar
  • Club soda
  • 4 cups of Eldorado Natural Spring Water
  • Optional: Additional lime wedges to garnish

Preparation:

Slice cucumber thinly and set aside. Juice lime and set aside. In a large pitcher combine water, sugar, muddled mint, cucumber slices and lime juice. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Upon serving, top with a splash of club soda and a lime wedge for garnish.

Tropical Oasis

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange
  • ½ cup of pineapple chunks
  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • Orange juice
  • 4 cups of Eldorado Natural Spring Water
  • Optional: Orange slices for garnish

Preparation:

Thinly slice half of the orange. In a large pitcher, combine orange slices, pineapple chunks, water, and the juice of the other half of the orange. Place in the refrigerator for a minimum of one hour. Stir in honey and serve with a splash of orange juice on top. Garnish with orange slice.
